Jim Ross Comments on Ric Flair Wrestling Again

This is what good ol' J.R had to say about Ric Flair returning to a WWE ring:

When will we next see Ric Flair in a WWE ring? Will it be as early as Monday Night? Naitch called me late Friday night and told me he would see me in a few days, whatever that means. It was late and it was Friday night and it was loud where ever Ric was which I assume wasn't the public library. Flair "wrestling" in WWE still seems unlikely. Ric wrestling outside the USA seems like a gimme.

I agree. I doubt we'll see Flair actually wrestle again, but I think his next stop is commentator.

J.R's comments are from his site.

Superstar set to Come Back on Tomorrow's RAW

Triple H is supposed to return on RAW tomorrow night. It is questionable, though, if he will.
Chester's Comments:
I have a feeling that he'll return asking for a WWE championship title shot, and he will be put in the steel cage match at Extreme Rules, making the match both a Triple Threat, and a lot more interesting.

WWE Makes SHOCKING Release

WWE fired Ken Kennedy yesterday afternoon. This is most likely because he hurt his hand on the latest RAW and they didn't want to pay him for the months that he needs to recover. ETR wishes Kennedy good luck in his future.
Chester's Comments:
I think there are three letters that describe his future: TNA.

Surprising WWE Power 25 Development

Rey Mysterio comes in first on the Power 25 on wwe.com this week, passing Orton, the WWE champ, and Edge, the World Heavyweight champ.

Chester's Comments:
Rey first on the p. 25 huh? It states this on wwe.com:
The Ultimate Underdog made a liar out of Chris Jericho at Judgment Day and successfully retained his title, which earns him this week's top spot on the P25. Now all he has to do is look toward Extreme Rules.
Well, I suppose it makes sense. It's pretty awesome I'd say. Anyway, that's all.

Rick Boy Movie Reviews: Twist of Fate

This 2-disc DVD set has exclusive comments and footage from The Hardy Boyz. It has their first hard years in wrestling and how they got to where they are today. You can clearly see the differences between their careers as a tag team and singles superstars. The first disc is the "Matt Hardy Story" and the other is the "Jeff Hardy Story." However, there are no matches on the discs, not including the extras. The extras have a few matches, some classics in there.

Grade: B

Not the best WWE movie, but it does have some awesome footage. Coming soon, "The Legacy of Stone Cold Steve Austin" DVD review.

New Blog

ETR member, Brer Rabbit has recently made a blog. It's called "Twist of Fate" and I put the link to it on the Links to Cool Sites widget. If you want to go to the site quickly, click here. Oh by the way, another "Rick Boy Movie Review" today featuring the Hardy Boyz. I've watched it and I thought it was pretty awesome. That's all.

Smackdown! Live Blog

Just a heads up! Smackdown live blog tonight a t 8:00. Hope you can watch.

Rick Boy Movie Reviews: Edge a Decade of Decadence

This DVD showcases the career of the "Rated R Superstar," Edge. This includes the two times he's cashed in Money in the Bank (on John Cena and Undertaker). It also includes his earlier matches, featuring Christian, his tag team partner at this time, and their feuds against The New Brood (The Hardy Boyz). It has most of his best matches ever and the most hardcore (literally) match that I have ever seen: Mick Foley vs. Edge in a Hardcore Match at Wrestlemania 22 (Featured on disc 2 if you have never seen it). I think this movie is better for you if you absolutely hate the Ultimate Opportunist. It will almost definetly get him in to your top 10 list of fave wrestlers.

Extras: The Best of Edge and Christian, Intercontinental title match Edge vs. Jeff Jarret, Adam Copeland vs. Christian.

Grade: A-

Be sure you see some of this DVD. Get it by clicking this link: http://www.wweshop.com/.

**SPOILER ALERT!** WWE Superstars Results for 5/21

-Tommy Dreamer vs. Christian ends in no contest; Swagger interferes

-Kofi Kingston def. Regal

-CM Punk def. Chris Jericho

Chester's Comments:
I was 99 % sure that Swagger would interfere. This should set up an ECW extreme rules Triple Threat between Swagger, Dreamer, and Christian. As for Punk, the now disapointed people from Chicago who went to Judgement Day will be happy by Friday night at 10:00. I think the Edge/Jeff Hardy non-title will end in Edge winning by DQ and Punk coming out and cashing in his title shot.

RAW Match Announced

WWE.com announced the RAW "Playoffs" match earlier today. It will be the Lakers vs. the Denver Nuggets. On the Lakers will be Batista, John Cena, MVP, Jerry the "King" Lawler, and a mystery wrestler vs. Randy Orton, Legacy (Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes) , The Miz, and Big Show. Jason Powell of www.prowrestling.net said he thought Vince McMahon would play up the Lakers vs. Nuggets. Guess he was right! See ya for now.

I Hate the Nuggets

Hi! Brer Rabbit here! The Nuggets are dumb. They CAN'T cancel RAW because of the stupid Nuggets! Luckily LA offered to hold the show. Just introducing myself. See ya later!

Chester's Comments: Go Lakers!

Well, it has been announced that RAW will be in LA next week. I hate the Nuggets. There's some little kid out there who is heart-broken because he's NOT going to go to RAW for the first time in his life. I think WWE should hold the event at the Pepsi Center in Denver next week and let the people who had tix go to that show. They should start selling tickets for next week's RAW tomorrow. And as the title says... GO LAKERS!!!

(ETR Chester's Comments 2009)

Monday Night Raw Canceling?

It was recently announced that the NBA team The Nuggets, are scheduled to play at the arena that RAW was supposed to be. Madison Square Garden and the STAPLES Center have offered to hold Raw. I hope the Nuggets just throw in the towel on this one! What if it were your first WWE show and you were really excited! Then it's suddenly questionable if you'll get to experience the feeling. Please comment on this unfortunate turn of events.

He's Baaack!

Well, I predicted he'd come back by joining Legacy, but he's coming back on ECW tonight at 10:00 to battle Finlay! Don't Miss DH Smith vs. Finlay an ECW tonight!

No CM Punk

Last night, the hometown hero, CM Punk got CRUSHED by Umaga. I thought that they would get everyone (From Chicago, or just your average CM Punk fan) to throw in the towel. Then when they thought all hope was lost, Punk cashes in MITB on Edge, the world champ. But that wasn't the case. Last night, hope was lost for Punk. I can tell he will cash in his title shot soon.

Judgment Day Results

-Umaga def. CM Punk

-Christian def. Jack Swagger to retain ECW title

-Morrison def. Shelton Benjamin

-Rey Mysterio def. Chris Jericho to retain title

-Batista def. Randy Orton by DQ, after match Ric Flair came out and cleared the ring with Batista (Orton still champ due to DQ)

New Recruits

As you can see I got a few new members to the ETR team. This is another reason I moved from tumblr to blogger. Anyway, I'll see you tommorow afternoon when I post Judgement Day results. ETR will be better than ever, and that's a promise.

Yo yo yo yo

Hi, I'm JB and I've been asked to contribute to the blog by Chester, so I intend to do so from time to time when the mood strikes me.

Right now Chester and I are going to work on some decimals, all the while wishing we were watching Judgment Day. Ahhh, if only money really did grow on trees - of course, then everyone would want to live in the suburbs, so it would be a lot more crowded out here...

Later. Dudes.

Yo!

Hi this is Rick Boy! I just joined the ETR (Everything That Rules) team and I will post every once and a while. However, I will not post results. I'll leave that to the blog leader, Chester Beanienoodle. See ya!

Is Kurt Angle Going to Make a Bad Decision?

Kurt Angle from TNA recently stated that he was only going to wrestle a little longer. This is because he wants to move from wrestling to movies. There are two questions. Number one: Will he really stop wrestling? Number two: Is he making the right decision? Please comment your thoughts on this.

Former WWE Star Wins MMA Fight in 24 Seconds

Former WWE superstar, Bobby Lashely was enraged when his opponent wore a Rey Mysterio type Lucha mask to the ring. Lashely assuming that Cook was teasing him, smashed an unlucky Michael Cook. Click on the following link to watch the video:

My Judgment Day Predictions

I predict that these Judgment Day matches will end like this:

-Shelton Benjamin def. John Morrison

-WWE champ Randy Orton def. Batista to retain WWE title

-World Hvt. champ Edge def. Jeff Hardy, but is savagely beaten by Chris Jericho after match leaving Edge in the ring and then CM Punk cashes in Money in the Bank, and Punk pulls off the GTS to win the World title.

-Jack Swagger def. Christian to become ECW champ.

-John Cena def. Big Show

-IC champ Rey Mysterio def. Chris Jericho to retain his title

-Umaga def. CM Punk

There may be another match added to the card since they have no Divas match or tag match. That's all for now.

(ETR Pay Per View predictions)

Undertaker Update, Ric Flair Returning?

-It was announced that the Undertaker will return to the ring in time for Summerslam, although Shawn Michaels condition is unknown, but I'm guessing that he will come back at about the same point in time.

-Ric Flair says that he wants to wrestle again. I think Chris Jericho was right-he keeps coming back for more! Anyhow, he got permission from Shawn Michaels (Who retired Ric at Wrestlemania 24). The question is this: Is Ric really going to return? From what he's saying, that's the case.

Great go home show for Judgment Day.

Chester's Comments on WWE Superstars Match, Big Show vs. Hornswoggle

Well, if you ask me it's ridiculous. The smallest man in WWE vs. the worlds largest athlete. Someone like Finlay should have stepped in and said "Spalding, NO!" (Caddyshack) to little Horny. If you didn't read the spoilers (Below) I won't tell you who won. However, I will tell you that 'Swoggle was smashed. Please comment your thoughts on this unfair matchup.

Mr. Kennedy Return Coming Soon

Mr. Kennedy made his return on WWE's non-televised FCW; Florida Championship Wrestling. He won in a six man tag match, teaming with Brett DiBiase and Bro Rutondo and defeating Jon Cutler, Troy Jackman, and Dylan Klein. I wouldn't be surprised if they showed a few promos for Kennedy's return this week. That's all for now!

Match May Not be on RAW

I just visited www.prowrestling.net (One of the places I get my WWE and TNA news) and the owner, Jason Powell, said that the advertising for the Cena vs. Miz match on wwe.com was gone. I checked and like he said, it wasn't there. Hopefully this doesn't mean anything and the match is on RAW.

RAW Tonight

John Cena will compete in an "Exhibition Match" against the Miz and Legacy will open the show, revealing why they attacked Shane McMahon last week on RAW.

Chester's Comments:
I hope Shawn Michaels returns tonight. Also, that Cena development is interesting. I thought Vickie said he couldn't wrestle until Judgement Day...

Jeff Hardy Contract Trouble

There's been buzz that Jeff Hardy's contract will expire very soon. It seems that he's been telling friends that he will almost definetley stay. But that statement may not be true. Some friends of Jeff say that he will take time off and then try to negotiate with the company. Will this work out for the youngest Hardy? PLEASE comment your thoughts.

Batista Says he May Retire When His Contract Expires

Batista commented on maybe retiring when his contract expires. He apparently turned 40 when he was injured and he said this: "I realize I'm closer to the end of my career than I am to the begining. It's something I'm really going to have to take a look at." He even commented on people who he would like to end his career. He mentioned John Cena and Triple H.
Chester's Comments:
I think he'll be staying with the company for a few more years. There's no way he'll turn down that contract. He's in great shape for 40. Although he did mention that he's so beat up that he has more trouble getting out of bed each morning. Please post your comments about how long you think that he'll stay with the company. See ya!

Superstar of the Week

Shane McMahon, who faced "The Viper's Lair" alone.

RAW Results

-They kicked it off with Shane O' vs. Randy Orton; No contest because Legacy, MVP, and Batista ran out and started a riot. Vickie said that she wouldn't let her opening match end up like that. So she made a "Win and You're in" contest. If a superstar wins their match they can particapate in the match. The matches in this contest were MVP vs. Cody Rhodes and Ted Debiase vs. Batista.

-Kofi Kingston def. Matt Hardy with broken arm

-Vickie Gurrero announces Big Show vs. John Cena match for Judgemant Day

-Cody Rhodes def. MVP via count; Cody to tag team with Orton in main event

-Festus def. Jillian in singing contest and Miz attacks Festus

-After smashing Festus, Miz challenges Cena. John comes out, but is attacked by Big Show.

-Mickie James def. Divas Champ Maryse in a non-title match

-Ted Debiase def. Batista via DQ; Ted goes into main event which is now a 3-on-1 handicap.

-Shane McMahon def. Legacy in a DQ, shattering his ankle in the making; Batista runs out and stares at Orton

Chester's Comments:
Batista messes up three times for the McMahons huh? First he lets HHH get pinned and lose his title, then he gets disqualified, leaving Shane to face Legacy by himself, and last but certainly not least, he runs out a little bit too late and Shane gets his ankle shattered. What else will he mess up?

Tazz Will Sign with TNA

See ya later Don West, hello Tazz! Recntly Tazz announced that he will sign with TNA once his WWE compete contract expires. Will he be an announcer or will he go back to the ring like Mick Foley? I think Foley will be happy to see Tazz. From what I've heard they're good friends. I just hope they do something interesting with him.
Anyhow, if you're bored, here are some links to cool blogs:

Big Stars Taking Time Off?

Two big superstars haven't been seen in the ring in a while. Undertaker and Shawn Micheals, the two men who particapated in what people have been calling the biggest match in Wreslemania history, haven't been seen for a while. HHH hasn't been seen for a week either.
Chester's Comments:
This isn't good for the industry. They've gotta get these guys back in action soon. Triple H and HBK could have a DX reunion especially now that they're on the same brand, if they were only in the ring! Anyway, hopefully Shawn appears tonight in RAW. See ya!

Legacy Comments on Winning Unified Tag Titles

Legacy recently commented on winning the unified tag titles from the Colons. They said that they had so much experience in the ring with HHH, Batista, and other top stars. They said they're up for anything.
Chester's Comments:
It would be interesting to see team priceless hold unified tag team gold. They have a point about their experience. They've fought people who most up and coming stars won't get a chance to face for years.

Speaking of the Legacy, there's been buzz about D.H Smith joining Legacy to replace Manu, who was recently released. Smith wasn't quite ready to wrestle in the big leagues so he got sent back to training. Interesting development. Anyway, it was announced last weeek that Shawn Micheals would appear on RAW tonight. That's all for now!

Stone Cold Quote

"You can thump your bibles, you can say your prayers and that don't get you anywhere. Talk about yer' psalms; talk about John 3:16... Well Austin 3:16 says I just wupped your a**!!!"

-Steve Austin commenting after winning King of the Ring.

Some Impact Matches Announced

TNA announced these matches for this Thursday's Impact.

-Main Event Mafia (Including Sting) vs. TNA Frontline (Mick Foley, Jeff Jarret, Daniels, Samoa Joe, and AJ Styles in a 10 man tag match.

-Suicide vs. Consequences Creed for the X division title.

Chester's Comments:
I think Creed has a chance at winning the title because he recently signed a multiple year contract with TNA. I think they have big plans for this guy.

-Beer Money vs. Eric Young and Jethro Holiday (Match in Team 3D tag tournament)

That's all for now!

You Can See my Other Blogs, latest WWE News

Yup! All you have to do is click the links on the links list. These in particular: The Old Everything That Rules and Toon's HQ. Anyway, I have to say that I'm not pleased with WWE moving ECW an hour later. Plus, it will struggle in ratings even more because most of their viewers are kids. In other news, Vince McMahon commented on making a Wednesday night show at some point. He doesn't think that it will be too much.
Chester's Comments:
I agree and disagree. If it's a show that's not just a bunch of dark matches slapped together (Like the new show, WWE Superstars for instance), then I'm in on it. Although, every night of the week there's a wrestling show (Besides weekends, unless there's a PPV) some people will get tired of it and WWE and TNA. Feel free to comment your thoughts on this.

Everything that rules is back and BETTER!

Yeah baby! You know me from tumblr. I created a blog there called http://www.everythingthatrules.tumblr.com/ and I got quite a few viewers. Now I'm back in action on a more crowded blogging site. So I will post WWE coverage, maybe some random stuff, drawings, and comments on all wrestling besides ROH because it's not televised! Anyway, hope you like it!
